he better know how to swim.

For Father’s Day, Finn and fam went to Great Grandma Jo’s for his first dip.

After, we lounged on Grandma’s back porch where Finn sized-up who was holding him.

Happy Birthday, Great Grandma Jo.
Love,
Finn, Bethany and Gregg
Love and first-Father’s Day wishes to Dada Gregg!
And love to Granddads Greg and Jack, and Great-Granddad Bob, too.
We took Finn out for Irish night at the Giants’ game. Lots of family members were there, too, thanks to the work of Auntie Jen and Uncle Dennis. Bonds got a home run, the kiosks served Guinness, and Jen got Finn this Giants hat — what a good night! Thank you Auntie Jen and Uncle Dennis!

Finn powered through his six-month shots, with help from this shirt from our friend Andrea, mama of Finn’s friend Ben and super-talented superhero jewelry designer!

Finn got his first taste of food this weekend — mushy banana. He’s not sold on the idea just yet!

Finn sits more and topples less. He scoots in circles on his belly. He swings and flies and laughs himself to hiccuping. He’s fascinated with light and shadow. He’s half a year old today, and we’re wholly in love with him!

We celebrated Gregg’s almost-birthday with a family trip to the Oakland Zoo. We’re not sure Finn took it all in. (What, another new thing? But I can’t put it in my mouth!) It was a lovely day, though. Giraffes, elephants, squirrel monkeys, meerkats, and a stuffed macaque to bring home.

Sometimes I like to go to the coffee shop up the hill. Hang out, drink some milk (gets those “creative juices” flowing), watch the world go by. Sometimes this girl I like meets me there (so cute, older).
