The proud grandmas.

Uncles Ben and Tom put together a fabulous cookbook for a wedding present. It’s full of Ben’s recipes, and Tom made the prints that serve as section dividers. Finn thought that pie looked good enough to eat. So he did.

It’s not like it’s been months since Finn and his mama went east… Oh wait, it has! Here are some overdue pictures from our trip to see family and remember Nana and Papa.

Finn and Ahma enjoy the light on the water, the music, the happy crowd out for the evening, and the human gargoyles at Water Fire.

Ahma found Finn a super ball. And Grandpa Stan played guitar to a happy audience.

Finn tolerated the New Hampshire mosquitos (how did we ever?) in his first visit to the town his mama grew up in. We had a peaceful afternoon among the violets and dandylions and pine needles, then a lovely service for Nana and Papa. (He got good at saying their names, too, upon seeing their pictures.) We got to see Uncle Ben, Grandpa Greg, Grandpa Peter, Great-Aunt Julie and more (Finn especially enjoyed running around with his cousins, who were great to play with him all afternoon).
